Desktop Dell Pro 5 con fattore di forma micro – p5m1260_reg_01

I had been using a DELL Optiplex 7000 micro desktop for a while now and fancied am upgrade. This wasn't cheap and the price only increased every time I went online to add my build options. The memory was extortionately expensive because of the current memory shortage due to AI. Anyway, I ordered the pc and waited...and waited. I reached out to DELL and found out that the PC had gone missing in transit. I then had to wait while DELL investigated and then they finally agreed to replace it, which they did. The support team at DELL were very good and kept me updated regularly. However, I was very disappointed with their use of delivery carrier as I could not get in touch with them. When the pc finally arrived I managed to set it up. It works well but I did have an issue between the U2724DE monitor and the PC when I had set up the power button support option. Every time I shut down the PC it automatically started up again. I did reach out to DELL technical support to raise help but their web portal didn't work and so I sent DELL and email and was asked to use their help portal. I found DELL to be quite useless for support. Anyway, it took me a little while to figure out what the issue was, but this being an AI pc I thought I would put it to the test and so I asked co-pilot the question. Low and behold co-pilot came up with the fix. The issue was linked to the Windows fast start up option. As soon as I unselected this option the PC was able to boot up and power down as expected using the monitor power button. Since then the PC has worked flawlessly.

Great product for my office and space saver.Works Great.

Lots of power and i/o ports in a small size. Will work great for our bank tellers and conserving space.

This is the perfect combination of power and space saving. I use this as a workstation in our shop and the form factor takes up no room on the bench.

I use it for stuff. I find it has a little more noise than the 5-6 year old Dell 7070 it was replacing. The noise is a constant hum. I fired up the 7070 and found at times it was completely silent, then may have a whir and a lower pitched hum and also quieter than this 2026 unit. This noise on the 2026 product is a disappointment as I expect after 5-6 years it would be quieter. I find the noise similar to a 2026 Dell Pro Max Slim I have. Yet that as a mini desktop I have under a desk so I don't notice the noise as much. Perhaps with this one I may put it under a desk. Other: I found out that laptops may offer better value as they are about 1/3 less cost with similar or greater features. I got this Dell anyway. I found other suppliers of this Dell model than Dell who were cheaper. The only differences I found was this one from Dell has WiFi7 and the other channels had WiFi6. They I think did not have Dell service built in while this one does. Other: In my research I found Dell base units from the U.S. may have base models (Pro Max Slim) with 2000 GB. In Australia the maximum was 500 GB. I ended up getting a 500 GB + 2000GB two disk where I would have purchased a single disk 2000GB. Plus the Dell website here said the configuration would not be accepted so I had to call to get service to fix the 500/2000GB unit for Dwll to accept the order for me. So I got the impression that Dell was dumbing down the offer for Australia and with poor quality assurance for the website to accept orders.

I haven't had the devise very long yet to really push it. So far it has worked as expected. I did opt for the extra DisplayPort. I still need hook 4 monitors to it and see how it preforms.

I just purchased a new Dell. All the power and no footprint.
