I’ve been using this strainer for years. I process Roma tomatoes for my Sunday Sauce. It’s always perfect. No seeds and no skins. Wonderful!

I absolutely love this attachment. I use it mostly because I like to make raspberry jelly without seeds in it and this attachment removes 99% of the seeds. I get all raspberry juice out for making the jelly.

I finally broke down and purchased a mixer. Let’s just say I wished I hadn’t waited so long to do it. It’s like having an extra set of hands in the kitchen! From cakes to cookies and meatloaf and more, I love my mixer. And the attachments, oh my!!! I have 3 (grinder, the fruit and veggie strainer, and the food processor and will be getting more in the near future. The fruit and veggie strainer was a tremendous help this summer as I was canning tomato juice. The process was quick, less waste and an ease to clean up afterwards. These products sure do aid me in kitchen!

Been using the fruit an veg strainer for several years to make my pear butter. I wash and pull stems out of pears, steam them to soften them, put in the strainer and it removes skin and seeds. What I have left is a thick puree that I put in my crock pot for 6-8 hours, and I'm ready to water can my pear butter. Sooooo easy! I can around 30 pints or so of pear butter when my tree decides to have pears (about every two or three years). I could not do this without the strainer. It's durable, easy to assemble and clean.

I couldn't process gallons of garden sauce each summer without this attachment. It handles whatever mix comes in from the garden, tomatoes, peppers and tomatillos, either slow roasted or in the case of tomatoes, quickly blanched drained and strained. It can be messy. A plastic cereal storage container is just the right height to fit under the spout and catch the sauce as it comes out.

I love this product. Yesterday, I did 18 jars of jelly, using mixed berries, and this strainer was infinitely easier to manage than the Victorio I'd been using. I didn't have leaking, I didn't need to get out the pliers, no juice landed on the floor or the counter, it assembled easily, and taking it apart was easy -- what a blessing. The Victorio worked but was very messy and very difficult to disassemble. A few cautions -- this strainer goes with the newer meat grinder attachment. I already knew that, so I bought the grinder as well. Also, it helps to lift up the bowl for the juice by setting it on something so the bowl for the juice is a bit higher than the other bowl for the skin/seeds. Otherwise, they don't both fit easily under the strainer. One other caution -- I put a towel down on the counter to catch any flecks of juice escaping the stream downward. But, having lifted the bowl higher, honestly, there weren't that many flecks. The benefits of this strainer FAR outweigh the negatives. I know people are mad that this strainer doesn't fit on the old grinder, and they feel surprised and not forewarned, and I do understand that, but that isn't a reason, IMO, to give this strainer a negative review. Once you have the right parts, it works so well. I'm very, very happy with it.

I bought it mostly to process tomatoes. It did a fantastic job of separating the pulp from the seeds and peels. I can't wait to try other produce.
