5 Quart Stainless Steel Bowl for Tilt Head Stand Mixer (Fits model K45) – kitchenaid 77686G

Came here to order a new bowl, because mine tends to dislodge it self, especially making dough for bread! I’m not sure what I will replace it with!🤔 Does any one have a recommendation?

I bought this in store and as soon as my mix gets thick (cookie dough for example) the bowl comes off the stand and it is a disaster....imagine a person trying to catch a runaway bowl....ingredients everywhere. I thought it was my fault at first, but the bowl will NOT stay latched on to the base.

I prefer the bowls with no handle, so I bought this one. I’m looking forward to making Christmas cookies with my mom and sister this year. We always could use a spare bowl for the refrigerated cookies doughs.

I only used my mixer 4-5 times before it started flying out of the holder. It's a shame I can't use it since it's basically brand new.

I've been using this particular bowl (workout handle) for over 20 years with my stand mixer. While it's completely adequate, my friend has a bowl with handle, and I loved it! So much easier to lock and unlock bowl into place. So, I ordered a new bowl, and just received my bowl with handle in the mail yesturday, and already using my mixer today! Bottom line: adequate

I have had the same issues others have had with the bowl not staying in place when trying to mix thicker substances, e.i. bread dough, cookies. It's like anticipating a jack in the box every time I try to use it, except it's a bowl flinging around on the machine.

Only used this bowl a few times since purchase Sept 2020 and will not stay locked. If you use it msybe to beat egg whites it will hold but for dough firget it. Original bowl still works fine. Too bad mixer to trash not worth the space it takes up

I recieved this as a wedding gift and was so excited. I grew up with a kitchenaid mixer and have a KitchenAid range, fridge and toaster oven. This was exactly what I needed to be added. Sadly the bowl WILL not stay in place. I do not have a receipt because it was a gift, so I can't seek out a fix. I've met others who have the same problem with this bowl and I'm so sad to see that this is an ongoing issue. If you are going to create a product, be sure it passes proper testing.
