I got this from my employer's milestone anniversary catalogue and I'm glad I did because it's a really convenient way to make cold brew and a great addition to my coffee making arsenal. My daily go-to is an Aeropress, I use a french press for certain coffees (like Ka'u coffee) that benefit from that method, and I picked up a used Nespresso Vertuo machine for cheap and my wife uses it for her flavored coffee drinks and I'll use it if I'm lazy and need a quick cup at night, I don't feel compelled to get into the pour-over scene but I've always wanted to try cold brewing. The KitchenAid cold brew coffee maker is definitely an upscale option that I probably wouldn't have bought but now that I have it, I would totally replace it if one of my kids knocked it off the shelf in the refrigerator and it broke into a million pieces. It's definitely a different experience compared to brewing with hot water. You do have to use decent beans, though. It was so smooth and sweet with Peet's Coffee French Roast that I thought I could get away with Kirkland dark roast--NOPE. It's passable but why? I usually keep it in the fridge for those mornings when I'm running a little late so I use the cold brew concentrate to make an "Americano". It is great for iced coffee and I mean just with ice and a little water to top off the cup. I can see if you add a lot of milk, you might want to use the concentrate straight so this might not be the cold brew maker for you. Otherwise it's perfect. Oh, and like a lot of the other reviewers, my original model leaked after the second use but KitchenAid replaced it no questions and it's been leak free for almost a year now with nearly continuous use.

I got the cold brew coffee maker because of a recommendation from my daughter. I have made two batches of cold brew and love how easy it is and how good it tastes. I am so happy with this Kitchenaid product. I know this is a durable product like the other Kitchenaid appliances I have. I have a ceramic cooktop that is 22 years old and I have not had any problems with it.

Best cold brew coffee maker I've ever seen. It's perfect for the 9 summer months we have come to expect each year. Simple instructions. Only requires a bunch (9 oz) of ground coffee, water, and a little patience for the best cold brew coffee you can find. No paying insane coffee shop prices for something you can make at home for one month at the same price as one drink. A bit of sediment can sit on the bottom of the reservoir so I shake mine from time to time to distribute it evenly. Solid glass and stainless steel make for a nice sturdy unit. Handle swivels for easy mobility and handling as well as a beautiful appearance. Gotta love the design engineers! I didn't drink much coffee before I got this but I do now!
