Die Smooth Hot Brush sorgt beim ersten Gebrauch für einen Überraschungsmoment, als sich die Bürste das erste Mal in Bewegung setzt. Der Umgang mit der Smooth Hot Brush braucht je nach Haarstruktur und Länge eine gewisse Einarbeitungszeit. Sie ist also kein Wundermittel, sondern ein Tool, dessen Umgang gelernt sein will. Hat man den Dreh raus, liefert sie, was sie verspricht. Vor allem das Auffrischen der Haare zwischen den Wäschen funktioniert super. Dabei muss man aber auch erwähnen, dass das Aufwärmen der Brush durchaus mehr Zeit in Anspruch nimmt, als man es von anderen Produkten kennt. Beim Umgreifen im Styling-Prozess kommt es aufgrund der Anordnung der Knöpfe doch häufiger vor, dass unbeabsichtigt die Drehbewegung verstellt wird. Hier merkt man, dass es sich bei der Smooth Hot Brush um ein Gerät handelt, das deutlich mehr für den professionellen Einsatz an Kundinnen entwickelt wurde als für die selbstständige Nutzung am eigenen Haar.

Positiv aufgefallen ist mir:
- Das Produkt hat eine einfache Handhabung. Es gibt jeweils einen Knopf für Temperaturregelung, Ein-/Ausschalten und um den Bürstenkopf nach links bzw. rechts rotieren zu lassen. Alles ziemlich selbsterklärend und einfach zu bedienen.
- Die Temperaturregelung geht vom niedrigen 100 Grad Bereich bis zum 200er Bereich, es sollte also für Jede(n) die passende Temperatur dabei sein.
- Die Bürste lässt die Haare wirklich schön glatt und erscheinen, auch wenn Sie vor der Nutzung frizzig gewirkt haben.
- Das Volumen, dass sich mit der Bürste kreieren lässt, sieht wie ein schönes Blowout aus.
- Das mitgelieferte Zubehör (Handschuh und hitzebeständige Ablage) sind eine schöne Ergänzung und runden die Produkterfahrung ab.
Negativ aufgefallen ist mir:
- Bei mir bleiben die Silikonnoppen tatsächlich ein wenig an den Haaren hängen.

Ich habe den Smooth Hot Brush über mehrere Tage ausprobiert und bin positiv überrascht.
Positive Punkte:
- Der Brush hat insgesamt 3 Hitzestufen und das Gerät ist auch sehr schnell zum Stylen bereit
- Gut finde ich, dass auch ein Schutz Handschuh dabei ist, was gerade für Anfänger ideal ist.
- Die Bürste rotiert angenehm in 2 Richtungen
- Ich hatte nach etwas Übung vor allem an den Curtain Bangs ein tolles Ergebnis, das mit Haarspray auch sehr lange gehalten hat. Ich habe sehr feines Haar. Es gibt dir ein tolles Gefühl ohne extreme Hitze wie bei einem Lockenstab zum Beispiel, somit für den alltäglichen gebrauch ist es super.
- Nach bisschen Übung geht das Stylen echt schnell
Negative Punkte
- Dauert ein bisschen bis man den Dreh mit der Bürste raus hat
- Ich hätte mir gern eine alternative größe bei der Bürste zum Wechseln gewünscht, da man dadurch besser einfach an bestimmten stellen etwas flexibler wäre. Ist denke ich aber mehr ein Wunsch als ein aktiver negativ Punkt.
Im großen und ganzen bin ich sehr zufrieden und die Bürste ist perfekt für den alltäglichen Look geeignet. Kann ich auf jeden Fall für Personen, die Curtain Bangs oder Ponys haben empfehlen, da ist das Ergebnis jedes mal perfekt.

Ich habe sehr dicke und lange Haare, daher könnte die Bürste für eine einfachere Anwendung gerne etwas größer sein. Das Produkt bietet die Möglichkeit die Haare entweder durch Bedienen der Pfeiltasten oder durch das manuelle Drehen zu stylen. Ich habe meine Haare bei der Anwendung größtenteils glatt bekommen und Frizz entfernen können, was mir schonmal gefällt. Jedoch hat die Bürste dabei an manchen Haarsträhnen kleine Dellen/Beulen hinterlassen und ziemlich viele Haare herausgezogen. Richtige Wellen habe ich mir nach mehreren Versuchen leider auch nicht zaubern können, daher bin ich mit dem Produkt eher enttäuscht.

Die Smooth Hot Brush von Babyliss ist leicht und liegt gut in der Hand, dadurch ist die Verwendung der Bürste sehr benutzerfreundlich. Das Design ist sehr ansprechend. Die Hitze lässt sich grundsätzlich gut kontrollieren, allerdings kann es vor allem beim Föhnen des Ansatzes bei empfindlicher Kopfhaut teilweise etwas zu heiß werden. Mein stark lockiges Haar lässt sich durch die Bürste gut bändigen, allerdings komme ich auch hier nicht drum herum mit dem Glätteisen nach zu helfen. Grundsätzlich erfüllt die Bürste aber ihren Zweck und ich würde sie weiter empfehlen.
